Here’s a funny picture of Jaden that I took today. He’s wearing my Dad’s hat and some funny glasses/nose thing.

Another report.

Today Mom got her tumor marker count back. They are now sending her lab work to a different lab. At this lab the results are considered normal if they are 1 – 35. Last time it was 19 but it went up to 32 this time. The rise isn’t good, she is waiting to hear from her Dr with what he thinks they should do at this point.

Mom was very disappointed but she is not overtaken with anxiety. Only faith in a God who loves us can do that. Truly! She is trusting him with her life and knows that He has her in His hand.

Follow-up – Mom heard from the dr. yesterday and they are not yet overly concerned with her numbers. They will wait another four weeks and then recheck her counts. Her response was another month to pray and heal and praise God.

What is Cabin Fever?

I’ve always thought that cabin fever meant that you are cooped up and need to get out. However, I seem to have come to the end of my rope with winter over here but I don’t know what it’s called. I actually don’t want to get out of the house, but while in the house I can’t seem to get motivated to do anything. Maybe it’s just called being lazy…..hmmm.

Feel free to enlighten me if you are reading this and can relate or know what I am experiencing.

Here’s an adorable picture I must post of the boys. This was taken over at my Mom and Dad’s house.

Jaden is wearing my dad’s cap that says “Retired, No Work Required!” funny…

This is how I am feeling – only inside the house!

One more thing….My Mom is going to have her dr.’s appointment tomorrow afternoon. They will recheck her tumor marker count again. Please pray that the number drops and that it doesn’t go up anymore. Thanks so much for your prayers!

I’ve had the privilege of having a beautiful baby girl in my life for a whole THREE years now! I can’t believe how she has blossomed over the last year, moving from babyhood and chubbies into a very sweet little lady.

We celebrated the big day with a family birthday party – Dora, of course!

She loved her Dora cake and picked yellow cake with chocolate frosting (Daddy’s favorite, too!)

Me & Ev – a rare picture!

Evely loved her new Dora chair and cleaned up on purses from Aunt Barb. She was so funny stuffing any new toy that she could fit into the purses.
