All I want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth. . .

I have a small request from all of you. . .

As most of you remember a little over a year ago Julian had his Teeter-Totter incident that cost him his four front teeth. Every so often he will tell me that he looks stupid without teeth and it bothers him.

The other day he came to me and said that he didn’t think his teeth were ever coming in. He wondered if when he broke that bone in his mouth that it knocked his permanent teeth out and they were gone. It made me feel so sad for him.

So that night Tom and I spent some time with him and we all prayed that Jesus would bring his teeth in really soon. I even went out on a limb to say it would be neat if they would make an appearance by Christmas! We really had never asked the Lord to bring his teeth in and so we thought we would just ask. It was sweet to hear Julian pray for his teeth and that they would come in without any pain.

So here’s where you all can help. . .If you would just say a prayer when you are reading this that his teeth would come in soon, I would appreciate it. I think that this would be one of those moments that would be a real “faith builder” for him. It would be really neat if God would answer his prayer and his teeth would come in soon – especially by Christmas! This would be an easy one for God to do. He heals the blind and lame, healed my Mom of Cancer. . a couple of teeth is no biggie!

We know that sometimes our timing is not God’s, but it never hurts to ask. I’ll keep you all posted on the teeth. . .

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phillipians 4:6-7

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. ~Jesus John 16: 23-24

I feel for him, it is not fun to have anything about yourself that you feel self-conscious about that you can’t fix easily. Prayers have been said! Merry Christmas to all of you, we love you very much and enjoy having you as friends!
