Karen,
I was just in prayer and for whatever reason your mom came up. I am so sorry to hear that you have had to transfer her to hospice house. Being that that has been my line of work the last 18 months, all I can say is under the circumstances, she is in a good place. I will be keeping her and your family in my prayers. Please let her know that I am thinking of her and her faith and convciction in the Lord was the strength I needed when I first became a Christian 7 yrs ago. What a blessing she has been not only to me but for many.

Isn’t that just like Judy to be such a POSITIVE influence on everyone that crosses her path. You go, girl! What a beautiful example of faith. What strength to exhibit contentment in ANY circumstance. What an example for those of us that are complete wusses! And thank you, Lord, for the staff and volunteers at Hospice House. It really takes the gifting of God for that to be their ministry. I’m continuing to pray for your family daily – love you guys!

This is a beautiful post, Karen. Thank you for portraying The Hospice House with such vivid description–it will likely be helpful in the future for any of us who may have to go there or move a family member there in the future. Prayerfully.
