Hi Everyone -

I wanted to tell everyone about my good friend’s new Blog. Merri and I grew up together, we met when I was in 6th grade (I am pretty sure). We became fast friends and as our highschool years came we spent almost every waking hour together. She was my Maid of Honor in my wedding. After graduating she went away to college and I got married and we have gone our separate ways since then – but not in heart. She will always be a lifelong friend, one of those kind that don’t come along very often.

Merri married a wonderful guy from Thailand and they are in the process of selling their home and moving over there. I always knew that Merri would eventually end up over seas. She always had that as a dream.

I am so glad that she has started a blog so now we can keep in touch even better. Check out her kids in the photo gallery, they are adorable! Her son was born just a few hours apart from Evely!

    Hello Karen:
I just wanted to say hi. How is your heel doing? My heels are still bothering me but losing a couple of pounds has helped “a little”
I like your Memorial Day Post.

Hi Kandi! My heel is “better” for the most part but not well. I really think if I lost some weight it would help me too. I looked online at heel pain and saw that it can be caused from dramatic weight gain. I think it was caused from being pregnant twice right in a row and still needing to lose. It is better, though. I was wondering how yours were.

Yeah, Jules, it would be quite the adventure!!

Karen I have one of those once in a lifetime friends also. She lives in W. Va. We met back in myhometown. She was visiting relatives and decided to stay. She has always been there for me. We don’t hardly ever see each other, but we know we’re there when we need a shoulder. Becky is my buddy.

It’s so great to have those kind of friends! It is nice to know they are there when you need them. That’s why I am glad Merri is starting her blog. I think we will keep in touch better than ever now.

I have family in W. Va too. Around the Beckley area.
