Snow Covered Spring

Job 37:5-7
God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.
For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

According to the calendar, it is officially Spring! I welcome it with open arms. I’m so ready for warm days and putting all the coats back in the closet. Yet winter visited us yet once again and I am thoroughly enjoying it’s beauty today! I was actually hoping for a few inches that would give us a snow day but only a dusting fell in our part of the area. I took some pictures of it and thought I would share them with you.

winter1

How great is our God!

winter2

His work is known throughout His creation!

winter3

It screams of his good pleasure. . .

winter4

And His awesome creativity!

I love the pics. You must have been feeling really good to get out so early with the camera!

Awesome scripture, too. He is so evident through his creation.

Well, actually I had to get out to get Julian to school and I just marvelled at it all when I was pulling back in the garage. So I ran and got my camera and snapped away. Didn’t want the moment to pass me by!

I’ve thought at different times that I would take pictures of creation and hang them in my house instead of artwork that I would buy at the store. I may do that someday, I am starting to get a stash of pictures that I could frame.

Your sister’s friend that does the artwork in her booth at the Brass inspires me.

I totally agree karen. I would love to do the same thing. There are a few I want to enlarge and hang on the walls. My Aunt Marlis always sends me handpainted cards. I need to get them framed so they can grace my walls. I love my kitchen decorations. The girls artwork makes me smile.

Yeah, I love your kitchen decor done by the girls, too. I smile each day because Julian has added all his artwork to our walls. He has made pictures for each member of the family and hangs them by our beds. I don’t know that I ever want to take them down. He switches them out with new pictures all the time. I need to post some of them on here.
