I surfed by while searching for a good "Caste Your Bread" graphic, and stayed to read more of God's work. I saw the photo of your Mom in chemo, and I've read of her home going. By age, though not by health, I am closer to that reunion and find such truth in Paul's words: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
(2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV)

May God continue to bless you as you share His work in your life.

Dear Karen,

Thanks for continuing to write. While I deeply regret not having comforted you on such a painful, yet joyous day in Heaven, I am so glad that you are continuing to write. You are truly gifted, and you are very blessed to have a mom who shined of Christ's love. She always spoke love, and praise.

She continues to be a blessing through your written and spoken words. I know you miss her tremendously, and hold to the faith and knowledge that one day you will reunite again. What a party to look forward to.

Until that day, there is still so much to say. I am blessed by reading each word. Sometimes like today, it is very tearful to read, yet I am blessed, and miss her with you. Like many others, I am continuing to pray for you and all of the family. You are very loved. Thanks for sharing her life with us.

Hi Karen,
I could hardly read your blog without tears. It is so sweet; you have a real talent as a writer!
It brings back memories again of my parents and my sister-in-law ; caring for them, watching their books close. It does make me long for heaven and home.
Birthdays and holidays bring the memories back all fresh again. I pray that God will continue to comfort you in His love and hope of the resurrection. Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all peace and hope as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of of the Holy Spirit. I have recently memorized this verse (or refreshed my memory?) calming my spirit as I go through this life and it's challenges.
We love you,
Carol
