What are Grandparents?

September 8, 2007

Yesterday was Grandparent’s Day at Julian’s school. So he was blessed to have two sets of Grandparents come and see his class and meet his teachers.

They had a page of questions that the children filled out in honor of the day. I thought Julian’s answers were so adorable that I must share them with you.

(Thank you both Moms and Dads for making Julian’s Day! He came home very excited that ALL of you were there to see him!)

  1. Hey Karen,
This is great stuff here, I loved that you wrote this exactly as he did! Perfect!

I want you to know it’s been just a pleasure getting to know you these past few weeks…you are an endearing addition to Cornerstone…hopefully you will soon come to think of Cornerstone as family like I do. They’ve definitely lifted me up at my darkest times (If you read my profile, that’d be a big part of it). See ya Sunday (really! I’ll be there!). xoxo~Stacey

  2. Hey Stacey! We have really been enjoying Cornerstone. People like YOU have made it that way. I did read your profile and I understand where you are coming from. You need people like that in your dark times when nothing makes sense!

    I’ll see ya Sunday!

  3. Yes indeed we all do from time to time. I’ve met some fantastic people there and I’ll just go on and count you as one as well! I would be very glad to add your link to my sidebar but I wasn’t sure if you wanted to keep this more private or not–so I haven’t done that. Some people (like me) just flop it all out there on the table, lol. But it’s soooo okay with me if you don’t want to link. xo ~Stacey

PS–hope your day is going well–I’m tired already and have mucho to do!

  4. Sure, you can add my link. I already added yours to mine. . .

My day was okay. Nothing really great. Tried a new recipe for dinner and no one liked it – except me. Oh well. . .

Hope your day was good, too!! :)

  5. Okay, I know I left a comment here on Wednesday Night! :cry

so let me just repeat what I said, I am so Glad to finally meet you! I wanted to say Hi after class Sunday, but got distracted (not uncommon with me! lol) So was very happy to see you guys in Wed. class as well. I just decided to join that one, and wow I am glad I did. I really enjoyed it!
I hope you all enjoy Cornerstone as much as My family and I do. I have really felt at home there, they are a great bunch of people!

Thank you for your comment on my blog! I also have added you to my list. Hope to see you again Sunday!

    Have a great day!

  6. Hey Cat! Thanks for the warm welcome! It helps when visiting new places and I must say, that Cornerstone has been the FRIENDLIEST church we have visited.

    See ya Sunday!!

  7. ^^Cat stop crying all the time! Pshh!

See you tomorrow, Karen, and of course it’s such a pleasure to know someone actually ‘got’ my humor and laughed. Cat’s one of the few I’ve found, along with you, lol. xo ~Stacey (aka Gidget)
